Timothy Milam

September 6, 1957 — October 12, 2010

Timothy �Tim� Ray Milam, 53, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center. Born September 6, 1957, he was a lifelong resident of Cartersville and was the son of Geraldine Earwood Milam and Ray Milam.



Tim was a long haul truck driver and had been in every state in the continental United States. He had been employed with Georgia Southern Trucking, Gainey Trucking, and Jenkins Trucking, and most recently he had been driving dump trucks for Best Hauling. Tim loved playing golf and woodworking, and he attended Creekside Fellowship.



Survivors include his mother and father, Geraldine and Ray Milam of Cartersville; his aunts and uncle, Mary and Clyde Charles of Cartersville and Ruth Glawson of Fort Worth, Texas; his great-aunt, Jo Boone of Kingwood, Texas; and several cousins.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Charles Ivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
