Mr. Timothy Joe Prater, 45, of Adairsville died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his residence following a battle with cancer. Born in Warsaw, New York, October 19, 1965, he was the son of Elmer Prater and the late Marie Judd Prater. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Prater; and his brother, Rick Nichols.
Survivors include his father, Elmer Elisha Prater; his siblings, Tina Nichols, Tammy Prater, Dian Cason, Ed Nichols, Bruce Prater and Joann Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Woodland Church, 202 Dallas Highway, Cartersville, Georgia.
Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Timothy Joe Prater.
