Tommy Kilgore

Tommy Eugene Kilgore, 84, of Kingston, Georgia passed away on June 19, 2021 at Redmond Regional Hospital in Rome Georgia.

Born on April 24, 1937, he was the son of the late Hershal & Hattie Kilgore. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Kilgore; and his sisters, Ebby McCoy and Joyce Price.

He is survived by his children Darlene (Danny) O'Berry, Timmy Kilgore, Steve (Tammy) Kilgore, Mark (Tammy) Kilgore, and Kim (Terry) Timms; as well as sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, and a special nephew, Randy Weaver.

Tommy was retired from the Bartow County Road Department. He enjoyed gardening, riding his tractor and front porch swinging. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

A funeral service will be held at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 24, 2021 with Reverend Donald Lindsey and Reverend Terry Timms officiating. Mr. Kilgore will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral hour. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Dewitte, Cam Comstock, Kevyn Comstock, Daniel Lauro, DJ O'Berry, Jason O'Berry.
