William Thomas "Tommy" Massey, age 76, sadly passed away at home on August 6, 2022, comforted by his loving daughters.
Tommy was born on December 12, 1945 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Charles Henry Massey and Jesse Lee Crowe Massey. He is also preceded in death by his best friend and loving wife of 34 years Kitty Constance Massey and his sister Amanda Massey.
He is survived by his children Tilisa Lynn Massey, Lorry Jean Massey Brock (Bruce), Joe Franklin Jones Turner (Sherri), and Gregory Dean Hixson (Darbi); his grandchildren Christopher Boston (Jessica), Priscilla Wilson, Bethany Wilson, Carlee Turner, Nicholas Evergreen (Caroline), Ian Smith (Emily), Sydney Smith, Camille Hixson, and Samuel Hixson; his siblings Louise Rampley (Jimmy), Harold Massey (Glenda), Ida Carden (Charles), and Dianne Cannon (Bob), as well as several great-grandchildren and extended family members.
Tommy was a Vietnam veteran for the United States Army and loved travelling around the country in his RV with his wife Kitty. He was a devoted husband and father and will be sorely missed.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville, GA on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11:00 am.
