Tony Johnson

Mr. Tony Lee Johnson, 50, of Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at his residence. Born in Floyd County, November 1, 1962, he was the son of W.C. Johnson and the late Doris Smith Johnson. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Johnson and father-in-law, Eugene Kubacki.
Tony enjoyed photography, cooking and computers. He was very thoughtful always doing things for others and making people laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Johnson of Taylorsville; his father, W.C. Johnson of Cartersville; his son, Casey Johnson of Cartersville; his step-son, Jeff Sample of Bad Axe, Michigan ; his step-daughter, Chesney and Shawn Montgomery of North Charleston, SC; his brothers and sister-in-law, Terry Johnson, Sr. of Cartersville and Daryl and Hayley Johnson of Euharlee; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kubacki of Ubly, Michigan; his God-daughter, Victoria Couch of Taylorsville; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday.
