Trammell Duvall, 77, of Cartersville passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at his residence. Born in Armuchee on April 15, 1934 he was the son of the late Paul Duvall and the late Allie Mae Duvall. He was also preceded in death by brothers and sister-in-law, Alfred and Pauline Vaughn, Reverend Albert Duvall and Carl Duvall; and his sisters, Estelle Vaughan and Mary White.
Trammell served his country in the United States Army and later went on to work at Lockheed until he retired. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Trammell loved baseball and enjoyed his time coaching, he also loved to fish, but most of all he loved God and his family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Shelby Leatherwood Duvall; his daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Joe Hazlewood; his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Cheryl Duvall; his grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica and Steven Wells, Jason and Tiffany Hazlewood, Tyler Duvall, and Ansley Duvall; Paw Paw�s �babies�, Brooke, Courtney, Alexis, Kalyrie, and Jordan; his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Joanne Duvall, Jr.; his sister-in-law, Ruth Duvall; his brother-in-law, Leon White; and a special niece, Kathy Kiser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Edwards, the Reverend Donnie Summey, and the Reverend Jimmy Temples officiating. Burial with military honors provided by American Legion Carl Boyd Post #42 will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Hazlewood, Tyler Duvall, Scott Duvall, Doug White, Randy Jackson, and Bryan Leatherwood these gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 1:15 on Sunday. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ken Ross, Phillip New, Mike Kiser, Chuck Nichols, Steve Sanford, Daniel Hite, Jack Darnell, Gene Morrow, and Wayne Duvall.
The family received friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
