Valeria Hooes

Mrs. Valeria Mae Hooes, 74, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born July 10, 1937 in Franklin, Indiana, Mrs. Hooes was the daughter of the late Raymond Hoyt Murray and the late Virginia Lou Scott Murray. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence A. Hoose; and her son, Rex Gene Zook.



Survivors include her children, Vickie Zook of White, Vance Skirkey of Mason, Ohio, Timothy Shirkey of Lebannon, Ohio and Judy Ann Shelton of Cincinnati, Ohio; along with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Josh James officiating.



Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Vance Shirkey, Ross Dodson, Jesse Willard, Carl L. Zook and Carl G. Zook.



The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
