Virginia Leach

Mrs. Robbie Virginia Cleo Leach �Tootsie� 75, of 80 Brookwood Ave, Rome, GA.. died Friday evening at a Rome Hospital.



Mrs. Leach was born August 30, 1933 the daughter of the late Elijah H. Garrett and the former Ruby Day Fain. She retired from being a CNA of more than 20 years from North West Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents Mrs. Leach was preceded in death by a brother, B. Garrett, a sister Betty Coker, and two daughters Shelia Virginia Mills Spain, and Vickie Gail Lawson.



Mrs. Leach is survived by her two sons Wendel �Tommy� Mills and William �Billy� Mills, Rome and sisters Juanita Watts, N.C and Shirley Peters, Mi. Mrs. Leach is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



During her life Mrs. Leach enjoyed reading and cross word puzzles.



Funeral service will be held Monday, September 22, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday September 21st from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home.



The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as active pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home by 1:30 P.M. on Monday: Terry D Rose, Ronnie Wilkerson, Scottie Hutchens, Brett Mills, Corey Mills, and Len Newberry. Honorary pallbearers will include: Phillip Hilyer, and Cody Rose.
