Vivian Yvonne Pinson

Vivian Yvonne Pinson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on Monday, June 28th, 1954, Vivian lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Yvonne was the devoted wife of the late William Michael Pinson, with whom she shared many beautiful years. She was the loving daughter of the late David and Mattie Reese, who instilled in her the values of kindness and compassion that she carried throughout her life.

A resident of Cartersville, Georgia, Yvonne's heart and home were always open to her family. She is survived by her children Chris Pinson (Addie) and Melissa Stewart (Coy), who will remember her as a fantastic and supportive mother. Her legacy of love continues through her cherished grandchildren, Trenton Ashley (Andrew), Jessie Greene, Tyler Pinson (Macie), and Knox Stewart, who were the light of her life.

Yvonne is also survived by her dear sisters, Wanda Womack (Larry), Katie Seaman (Lionel), and Timmy Reese, with whom she shared a special bond that endured through the years. The memories they created together will be treasured forever.

Yvonne had a passion for movies and loved spending time with her family, whether it was watching films together or sharing stories of her adventures to Gatlinburg, TN, and her favorite place, Grand Bay, AL. Her love for these places was only surpassed by her love for her family.

Yvonne will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, her joyful spirit, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Yvonne's memory by spending a day doing something you love with those you hold dear, just as she often did.
