Mrs. Vivian O. Kimbell Smith, 58, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at her residence. Vickie was born in Conyers, Georgia on February 6, 1954 to Betty Leachman Knight and the late Sammy Kimbell.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tim Kimbell.
Survivors include her husband, Dewayne Smith of Alabama; her son, Timothy W. Kimbell of Cartersville; her mother, Betty Knight of Rydal; her brother, Michael Kimbell of Marietta; her sister, Kathy Smith of Rydal; two granddaughters, Hailey and Victoria Kimbell of Kentucky; five nieces and nephews; Justin, Rhiannon, Dana, Devon and Michelle Kimbell.
An informal memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Dellinger Park in Cartersville.
This announcement was made as a courtesy to the family by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
