Wanda Etta Adams

Cartersville, GA – Wanda Adams, a beloved resident of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the age of 73. Wanda was born on Thursday, December 11, 1952, and brought joy and laughter to everyone she met throughout her life.

Wanda was known for her infectious smile, mischievous spirit, and the joy she spread wherever she went. Her warmth and sense of humor made her a dear friend to many, and she was often described as a "hoot" by those who knew her best. Her vibrant personality and loving nature touched the hearts of everyone around her, ensuring she was loved by all.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, George M. Adams and Joyce E. Adams, as well as her brothers, Harace Adams and Wayne Adams, and her sister-in-laws, Sue Adams, Sheila Adams, and Sherry Adams; and her nephew, Madison Adams.

She is survived by her brothers, MW (Dub) Adams and Sam Adams. Wanda also leaves behind her cherished nephews, David Adams (Lena), Wesley Adams, Chris Adams (Donna), Danny Adams (Kristy), and Gerald Adams (Narissa); her loving nieces, Becky Brookshire (Glenn), and Paula Adams; and several other relatives and friends who were dear to her heart.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of support and condolences they have received during this difficult time. Wanda's memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of joy and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, where Wanda's life will be celebrated in a manner befitting her wonderful spirit. Details of visitation are 10:00am - 12:00pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 with the service following at 12:00pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
