Wanda Ferguson, 73, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born on January 21, 1950, in Cartersville Georgia to the late Ikey Jarrett and the late Opal Lee Jarrett. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest Parr, and Florence Parr.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Larry Ferguson; daughter, Luci Bryan; son-in-law, Bruce Bryan; and her fur baby, Opie.
Wanda loved animals, especially her baby Opie. She met her loving husband Larry in school where they became high school sweethearts. They married in 1970 before Larry was deployed to serve in Vietnam. Her family would like everyone to know that she is at peace.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Willard officiating.
