Wanda Hornbuckle

February 3, 1950 — May 20, 2024

Wanda Elaine Howren Hornbuckle, 74, of Cartersville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was born in Cartersville, Georgia on February 3, 1950, to the late Neal Howren and the late Alma Kelley Howren. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Ray Howren and Aubrey Howren; and sisters, Betty Amos, Faye Gee, and Margaret Alexander.

Wanda enjoyed reading. She loved the beach and being in the sun. Wanda also enjoyed flowers and animals. Most of all, Wanda loved being with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dale; her sons, Greg Hornbuckle and Dillion Hornbuckle; her daughter, Serena Hornbuckle; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Darryl Martin and son Jesup; granddaughter and husband, Shianna Glover and Johnathon Wynn and daughters Haisley and Amelia; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Bertie Howren; sister, Virginia Hobgood; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at White United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darryl Martin, Greg Hornbuckle, Johnathon Wynn, Shawn Rotko, Sammy Amos, and Scott Rotko.
