Warren Hoff

Warren �Trapper� Hoff, 82, of Cartersville passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Born September 16, 1928 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin he was the son of the late Harry Hoff and the late Edna Sauer Hoff. He was also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Clifford Raether, Roger Twerberg, and Charles Roles.



Warren graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1946 and served his country in the United States Army from 1946 to 1948. On October 12, 1963 he married Cecelia Raether at Our Savior�s Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. He later went on to work for the Eau Claire Board of Education until his retirement in 1990. Warren enjoyed sports of all kinds and participated in many of them including basketball, football, track, golf, bowling, and horseshoes. His favorite hobbies were racing, homing pigeons, and gardening. He was an avid reader and student of God�s word.



Survivors include his wife, Cecelia; his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Chris Hoff; his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Curtis Bradley; his grandchildren, Emma Hoff, Andrew Hoff, Corey Bradley, Sara Bradley, and Alex Bradley; his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and David Gustafson; his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean Roles, Nancy and Gerald Raether, Carol Twerberg, and Carol Raether; his brothers-in-law, David Gustafson, and Gerald Raether.



It was Warren�s wishes to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
