Mr. Wayne Forrest Kaylor, 62, of Cartersville, died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at a local hospital.
Born in Alabama, March 4, 1950, he was the son of the late Lloyd Marvin Kaylor and the late Jewell Rush Kaylor. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Lee Kaylor. Mr. Kaylor was retired from General Motors and was a member of the National Hot Rod Association. He owned an auto repair shop in Cartersville for a number of years during his career. He also served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet Kaylor; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery Wayne Kaylor and wife, Tracy, Christopher James Kaylor and Robert Linzy Kaylor and wife, Candy; his grandchildren, Kaysha Kaylor, Emily Marie Kaylor, Katie Margaret Kaylor, Frank Montana Roberson, Jeffery Forrest Kaylor, Joseph Michael Vargas, Alex Nathaniel Vargas and Andrew Ryan Vargas; his great-grandchildren, Skylar Kaylor, Johnathon Kaylor and Hayden Roberson; his brother, Lloyd Marvin Kaylor, Jr. and wife Sandra; and his sister, Ellen DeJournette and husband, Floyd.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
