Wayne Vaughn

Wayne Vaughn, 71, of Cartersville, Georgia, left to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2024. He was born on June 9, 1953, in Rome Georgia to the late Milford C. Vaughn and Sylvia Faye Vaughn. Wayne's brothers and sisters were, Ray, Bobby Todd, Billy Jack, Wanda Faye, Mickey, Jerry Vaughn, Donna Davis of Rome Ga, Debra Cagle of White Ga, Karen Davis of Ider Al, Tami Dean of Kingston Ga and Pat Hight.

He is proceeded by his wonderful wife of 49 years, Brenda Carol Vaughn. He is survived by his two sons, Stephen (Jacki) Vaughn of Chatsworth Georgia and Richard (Kayla) Vaughn of Marietta Georgia. Grandchildren include Corey (Keri) Vaughn, Conor (Alicia) Vaughn, Carter Vaughn, Emme and Presley; three great grandchildren, Peyton Vaughn, Ava Vaughn and Knox Vaughn; many nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart; and his very special friend, Jennifer Starnes.

Wayne was always an outdoors person. He could often be found at his little building with his dog "Baby Girl", listening to old country and western music. He always enjoyed his western movies and TV reruns and any conversation that involved Ford Mustangs. His sense of humor was well known and he always had a new joke to tell everyone at least five times. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, dignity, integrity, natural leadership and the love he had for his family and friends.

The family of Wayne will be having a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home chapel. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
