Wayne Leslie Williams, Sr. age 79 of Cartersville, Georgia died May 26, 2025 at Highland Senior Living Center in Cartersville, Georgia. He will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Tucker, Georgia beside his wife Cheryl Lynn Williams.
He is survived by his son, Wayne L. "Trey" Williams, Jr. and his wife Melissa Morton Williams of Dallas, Texas; daughter Ashley Lynn Williams of Cartersville, Georgia; brother Steve Williams of Charleston South Carolina.
Born on July 22, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, Wayne was a graduate of Druid Hills High School Class of 1963. He worked in sales at various companies over a 40-year period. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cartersville, Georgia. Wayne was an avid sports fan with the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves being his favorites.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in the name of Wayne L. Williams, Sr.
