Willanell Price

Mrs. Willanell Price, age 86, of Rome, GA. died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at her

residence.



Mrs. Price was born in Gordon County, GA on December 16, 1922 the daughter of the late Joel Walker and Etta McDaress Walker. Mrs. Price was a member of the Dykes Creek Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Price, November 23, 1988 and a son Randy Lewis Price, September 9, 1950.



Survivors include her sons and daughters in law; David and Joyce Price, Charles and Vickie Price; daughters and sons in law, Shirley and Gene Hayes and Avanell and Terry Cordle; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren; special nieces, Betty Cooper and Donya Wood; special nephews, J.R. Rogers, Lewis Walker and Michael Walker.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Mikel Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mizpah United Methodist Church cemetery.



The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home.



Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
