William �David� Hartsfield, 80, of Cartersville passed away on November 25, 2011 at his residence. Born June 27, 1931 he was the son of the John Irvin Hartsfield and the late Ethel Gertrude Griffin Hartsfield. He was also preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years Dora Ova Lee Blalock Hartsfield.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Doug and Vickie Hartsfield of Cartersville, Linda and Lamar McGinnis of Dalton, Faye and Marshall Hornback of Brownsville, Kentucky, Sandra and Jimmy Miller of Calhoun, and Roger Hartsfield of Cartersville; his sisters, Ruby Biddy of Acworth, Gladys Johnson of Cartersville, Charlotte Wooten of Cartersville, Eva Mae Jones of Pine Log; twenty-one grandchildren, and thirty-three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Fred Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Shinall Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
