William Jordan

Mr. William "Tommy" Jordan, 65, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at his residence. Born September 20, 1947 in Pine Log, Georgia, the son of the late Andrew Jordan and the late Lillie Belle Oliver Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mae Wilbanks, Michelle Sensenbrenner and Nancy Sutton; and a brother, David Jordan.

Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was a great man of God.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret Jordan of Cumming; his daughters, Tammy Jordan of Dawsonville, Debbie Nipper of Rome and her husband, Ken and Tanya Bell of Cumming and her husband, Jeff; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sisters, Beatrice Martin of Acworth, Velvet Strode of Burlington, Iowa and Vickie Turner of Maryville, Tennessee; his brothers, James Jordan of White, Bobby Jordan of New Hope, Wayne Jordan of Adairsville, Ronnie Jordan of Rockmart, Daniel Jordan of Rockmart and Daryl Jordan of S. Pittsburg, Tennessee; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend John Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
