William Sherrell Proctor, 64, of 1302 Lakemont Dr., Dalton passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton. Born July 28, 1943 in Cartersville, he was the son of Ruthie Lee McDonald Proctor and the late Joseph Chester Proctor. William had been the manager of The Cellar Restaurant in Dalton.
Survivors include his mother, Ruthie Proctor of Cartersville; his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Shelvia Proctor of Cartersville; his nephew, Robert Barry Proctor and his wife, Lisa, of Lafayette; and his niece, Sherri Crowder and her husband, Scott, of Cartersville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Wayne Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville.
