William Troy Pruitt, age 75 of Cartersville, GA Entered Eternal Rest on September 18, 2024. Which leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Troy was born March 6, 1949, to Henry Edward Pruitt and Hazel Hammonds Pruitt.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jackie Brookshire Pruitt; his parents; his sister Mae Pruitt Beavers and his brother Henry F. Pruitt.
He is survived by his sons, Keith (Beckie) Pruit and Darren (Leigh Ann) Pruitt; h is grandsons, Jon Pruitt, Justin (Courtney) Pruitt, Devon Pruitt and Brady Goodson; his granddaughter and special girl to him, Zuela Pruitt; h is great grandchildren, Macy Pruitt, Adalyne Pruitt, Owen Pruitt, Emma Pruitt, Mason Pruitt and Ceaden Pruitt; and h is nephews, Mark (Emily) Beavers, Darrel Pruitt and Barry Pruitt.
In his younger days Troy's passion was dirt track racing. He raced all over Georgia and surrounding states. He was self employed as a Contractor. After retiring be built a garage where he worked on Classic and Hot Rod Cars.
A Celebration of Life and Interment will be held at a later date for both Troy and Jackie at Oak Hill Cemetery.
