Mr. William "Lloyd" Robinson age 55, of 1985 County Road 97, Gaylesville, AL died Saturday, January 7, 2006, at his residence.Mr. Robinson was born in Floyd County, GA, on March 25, 1950, the son of William F. and Pearl Silvers Robinson. He was employed with Georgia Power at Plant Hammond for thirty years as a boiler and turbine operator. Mr. Robinson served in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and prospecting for gold. He was a very easy going person and good-natured.In addition to Mr. Robinson's parents he is survived by his wife, Tina Williams Robinson, to whom he was married on May 25, 2000; a son, Bart Robinson of Rome, GA; a daughter, Tracey Bagley of Rome; two step sons, Jeffrey McAbee of Sylvania, AL, and Daniel Barker of Winder, GA; five grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Michael Robinson of Rome, Larry Robinson of Rome, Tony and Ruthie Robinson of Rome; and Tim and Waynette of Rome, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. George Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.Mr. Robinson will remain in the Oaknoll Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as active pallbearers and are requested to meet at the Oaknoll Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home by 1:30 P.M. Wednesday: Stacy Bullard, nephews, Gary Robinson, Caine Robinson, Noah Robinson, Chris Robinson, and Greg Robinson.
