Mr. William Franklin Sheppard, Jr., 55, of Marietta, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at his residence. Born in Bartow County, May 29, 1956, he was the son of the late Frank Sheppard and the late Dolly Bivens Sheppard. Preceding him in death are his parents; his sisters, Susan Denise Sheppard and Darlene Burns; and one brother, David Cabe.
He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Juanita Massey of Cartersville, Vivian North of Jacksonville, Florida and Gary Bivens of Newberry, Florida; his nephews, Jason Burns, Christopher Burns and Gary Cabe; and a special friend, Otis Smith of Marietta.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville.
