William Stiles

William Clyde Stiles, 87 of Cartersville, died Saturday November 4, 2017 at his residence. A native of Bartow County, born on February 23, 1930, he was the son of the late Fred Stiles and Maude Branton Stiles.

Mr. Stiles was a very simple and quiet man that didn't waste any words. He took very good care of his family, loved everybody and didn't have any enemies. Mr. Stiles never wanted any attention or recognition for his accomplishments. Mr. Stiles was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Navy from 1948 – 1952. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Shinall Stiles and a brother, Robert Stiles.

Survivors include his children, Robin Hufstetler (Ronnie) and Dave Stiles (Melanie); his grandchildren, Michelle Brush, Douglas Cramer, Andrew Stiles and Amanda Stiles; half-brothers, Charles, Freddie and Henry Stiles; and cousins, Gene Vance and James Vance.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Center Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow.
