Mr. William Jerald Watkins, 68, of Taylorsville, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 11, 1943, he was the son of the late William Carl Watkins and the late Edith Elizabeth Britanny Watkins.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Watkins of Taylorsville; his sons, Jerry Watkins, Jr. of Sedona, Arizona, Cody Watkins of Taylorsville and P.J. Abernathy of Cartersville; his daughters, Lori Pizano of Centre, Alabama and Melanie Sparks of Rydal; his sisters, Betty Eaton of White and Judy Crocker of Acworth.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Joe Nix officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 � 1:30 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
