Willie Wigington

January 5, 1918 — June 25, 2009

Mrs. Willie Mauldin "Wee Wee" Wigington, 91, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009. Born January 5, 1918 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of the late James Oscar Mauldin and the late Estelle Reed Mauldin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Buford Wigington; her brothers, John Wesley (Johnnie) Mauldin and Clarence C. Mauldin; and her sisters, Hazel Mauldin, Rilda Kilby, and Annie Ruth Singley.



Mrs. Wigington was a retired beautician and loved to read and to quilt. She also enjoyed shopping at yard sales.



Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Virginia Mauldin of Emerson, Robert and Carolyn Mauldin of Cartersville, and Charles (Tiny) and Reba Mauldin of Adairsville; her sister, Frances Lipscomb of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.



Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 in Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Arrington officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Bradley, Jimmy Bradley, Michael Singley, Randy Hale, Charles McGill, and Billy Henon. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Andy Robertson.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
