Wilma Gee

Mrs. Wilma Faye Gee, 69, of Cartersville, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, born December 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Frank O'Neal Howren and the late Alma Chloe Kelley.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Franklin Gee; her brothers, James Ray Howren and Aubrey O'Neal Howren and her sister, Betty Joyce Howren Amos. Mrs. Gee was of the Baptist faith and was previously employed by Walmart.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Townsend (Ricky) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Autumn Townsend of Cartersville, Allen Townsend of Pensacola, Florida and Eric Townsend of Camp Lejune, NC; four great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia "Gin" Howren Hobgood (Royce) of Fairmount, Margaret Howren Alexander of Cartersville and Wanda Howren Hornbuckle (Dale) of Cartersville; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Bertie Howren of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe McKaig officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
