Mr. Winfred "Pete" Nelson, 55, of Cartersville, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Rome. Born May 9, 1958 in Bartow County, he was the son of the late Jesse Williams Nelson and the late Ada Marie Jones Nelson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by close friend, Martha Mulkey.
He is survived by his sisters, Jan Crisp of Douglas, Sheena McFarlane and husband, Michael of Dalton and Lynn Stiles and husband, Charles of Cartersville; along with several nieces and nephews.
