Obituary for J.T. Sanford
Mr. J. T. Sanford, 68, of White, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at his residence. A native of Bartow County, born July 28, 1946, he was the son of the late Will and Lassie Cox Sanford.
Mr. Sanford attended Clear Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from Bartow County and was a loving, caring man, always helping others. Being an avid outdoorsmen, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Dorothy Sanford of White; his daughters, Karen Sanford, Sherri Crisp, Debra Craig and Stacey Sanford all of White; his son, Dennis Sanford of White; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; his sisters, Bobbie Radford of White, Stella Dye of Cartersville, Shirley Prater of Adairsville and Corine Cummings of Cartersville; his brothers, Jesse Sanford of Cartersville, Frank Sanford of Cartersville, Loyd Sanford of California, Ricky Sanford of Dallas and Steve Sanford of Adairsville.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Donny Summey officiating. Interment will follow in the Shinall Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clifford Blackmon, Dustin Barrett, Eugene Blackmon, Houston Shuler, David Sanford, Timmy Guyton and Shawn Sanford.
