Mrs. Rose was like a second mom to me. She was the perfect example of a Proverbs 31 woman, and I'm grateful for her example. Love and prayers to the family - may God surround you all with His comfort and love.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I often think of the times my family and I spent with Carol and Ira and your family on our trips down south. I will always remember the warmth and love we felt in your home. We always felt welcome and were treated like family. So many memories. Dad and Mom (Jimmy and Marjorie) send their thoughts and prayers. I am so glad my friend Ryan and I got to spend some time with y'all on our recent motorcycle trips to Florida. Thank you so much for all of your hospitality, warmth, love, good food, and pleasant conversation through the years. Much sympathy from Michigan.

Carol felt that life was meant to be lived, always busy, always planning. It is amazing all that she and Dad did accomplish in her lifetime, all that they did. What an example she set, and what an encouragement she was. She was always ready to help other people, but her focus was her family. Two years ago, on Mother's Day, I went to the emergency room with a wound on my leg that had gotten infected. As soon as she found out about it she was right there, telling me what I needed to do. An elderly janitor commented to me that I should be thankful to have a mother like her. I completely conquered with him. This Mother's Day we had to call a ambulance to pick her up from home and take her to the emergency room. There was nothing that could be done for her, just try to ease her suffering. She was always there for us. She will indeed by missed.
