Obituary for William Dalton Pinson

Mr. William Dalton Pinson, 87, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at his residence. Born in Calhoun on June 28, 1927, he was the son of the late Reverend J.L. Pinson and Nannie Lee Greeson Pinson.
Mr. Pinson attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Georgia Power. Preceding him in death along with his parents are his son, Michael Pinson; his son-in-law, Robert Sloan; his brothers, Johnny Lee and Glen Pinson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Hazel Darnell Pinson; his daughter, Glenda Sloan; his grandchildren, Brian and Carla Sloan, Jeff and Brandy Sloan, Darrin and Melissa Sloan, Chris and Addie Pinson and Melissa and Coy Stewart; his great-grandchildren, Carter, Avery, Brianne and Bailey Sloan, Trenton, Tyler and Jessie Pinson and Knox Stewart; and his daughter-in-law, Yvonne Pinson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Benny Thomas and The Reverend Crawford Greeson officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 -8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
