Obituary for James "Jimmy" Gregory

Mr. James “Jimmy” Gregory, 67, of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his residence. A native of Bartow County, born May 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Lona Adam Gregory and Mary Keys Gregory.
Jimmy was a hard worker, never complained, had a good sense of humor and was a loving family man. He was employed by Ingles Markets before retiring as a meat cutter.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Ray Gregory; his children, Carey and Steve Kown and Kim Gregory Hoag all of Cartersville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great and two great-great grandchildren on the way; his sisters, Martha and Charles Lochridge and Kitty and Ronnie Harris all of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8th at Sunset Memory Gardens with The Reverend Charles Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
