Obituary for Michael "Shane" Cagle

Mr. Michael Shane Cagle, 46, of Kingston, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his residence following a lingering illness. Born in Floyd County on May 11, 1969, he is the son of Danny Cagle and Linda Eldridge Cagle.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Misty Self Cagle; his children, Joanna, Rachel and Samuel Cagle; his parents, Danny and Linda Cagle; his siblings, Jeff Cagle and Melissa Ray; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Danny Woodruff officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingston Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Samuel Cagle, Brody Cagle, Scott O’Neal, Chad Ray, Justin Cagle and Ethan Farrell.
Flowers will be accepted but for those whose choose, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes, Blvd. #280, Kennesaw, Ga. 30144 in honor of Shane Cagle.
