Obituary for Amanda Williams

Mrs. Amanda Jean Williams, 75, of Cartersville, died suddenly on Monday, August 24, 2015 at her residence. Born in Rutherford, Tennessee on June 24, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Louise Herington.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Saint Francis of Assisi where she was very active. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Williams was a positive person with a likeable disposition. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Bayer; and brother, Ralph Bayer.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jerry Williams of Cartersville; her sons, Patrick McKenna, Michael McKenna and wife Marci, Jerry Williams, Jr. and wife, Kristina, Kevin Williams and wife, Lisa and Larry Williams and wife, Linda; her daughters, Cammy Galloway and husband, Sonny and Flora Williams; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Christian Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Saint Frances of Assisi with Father Juan officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
