Obituary for Roy W. Bynum,

Roy Winston Bynum, 87, of Cartersville, widower of the late Donnie Overstreet Bynum, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born July 31, 1928 in Cedar Springs, Georgia, he was a son of the late Leon Bynum and the late Inez Johnson Bynum. Mr. Bynum was of the Pentecostal Faith, and loved people. He demonstrated unconditional love to everyone he met. He enjoyed farming on his son’s land and sharing the vegetables that he grew with his neighbors. He also had a special love for animals. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Bynum and Fred Bynum.

Survivors include his daughters, Brenda Mauch and her husband Mike of West Palm Beach, FL, and Becky Price and her husband Curtis of Cartersville’ a son, Mark Bynum and his wife Lisa of White; brothers, Gordon Bynum of Atlanta, Hal Bynum of Webb, AL, and Max Bynum of Las Vegas; a sister, Frances Mitchell of Loganville, GA; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend John Spellman officiating. Interment will be Private.
