Obituary for Hattie Mae Ray

Hattie Mae  Ray
Mrs. Hattie Mae Hartness Ray, 81, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Ridgewood Manor in Dalton.

Born August 10, 1936 in Murphy, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late George Hartness and Nolia Brooks Hartness.

Mrs. Ray was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Nelan, Blanche Wilson, Frankie Earwood, Nellie Ellis, Helen Hornbuckle, Alfred Hartness, Pearlie Hartness and Charlie Hartness.

She is survived by siblings, Gladys P. Morrow of Cartersville and Johnny Hartness of Ohio along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 in the Providence Cemetery
