Obituary for Shirley Ann Hall
Mrs. Shirley Ann Craig Hall, 58, of Cartersville, died Monday, September 22, 2014 at her residence.
A native of Bartow County, born February 10, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Monroe Craig and Mary Lou Perry Craig. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Kroger. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, crocheting, sewing and taking care of her animals. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Douglas Hall.
Survivors include her step-daughter, Tina Thomas of Alabama; three step-grandchildren, Corey Thomas, Josiah Thomas and Trevor Thomas all of Alabama; her sister, Margaret Tidwell of Cartersville; her brothers, Lewis Craig and Lawrence Craig of Cartersville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at New Canaan Baptist Church with The Reverend Larry Towe and The Reverend Ronnie Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Hall will be carried to the church on Wednesday to lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Tidwell, Sr., Michael Tidwell, Jr., Jason Arp, Larry Craig, Junior Bagley and Caleb Cox.
