The girl who always smiled...

I was Donna's niece by marriage...Tony is my uncle. But I couldn't have loved her more if she was my blood. I met Donna when she married my uncle Tony 30 yrs ago. I was just a small child, but I remember even then that she was always happy, laughing, & smiling that beautiful smile. Over the many years after, I saw her frequently...at family holiday parties, birthdays, & social visits. She was always smiling that smile. You know the 1...a smile that comes from within, glowing thru her skin...sparkling thru her eyes...and radiating from her heart. Always...That smile. I always remember her being happy. Laughing & joking...and infecting everyone around her with her smile. She was always the 1st to come up & hug me at family gatherings...and the last to leave because she'd stayed to clean up our mess & wash the dishes. She was a loving, kind, & special lady. She always made me smile too. 30 yrs of that beautiful, infectious smile makes an impact on a person. I've always admired & respected her...and loved her. My children loved her...everyone loved her. The girl who always smiled...I know shes in heaven infecting all the angels with her beautiful heart & loving smile.
