Obituary for Hoylene Noble (Head)

Hoylene Head Noble, 64, of Kennesaw, died June 21, 2014 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Born March 30, 1950 in Atlanta she was the daughter of the late Hoy Felix Head and Louise Adcock Head.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Uncle, Den Adcock.
Hoylene was employed by Cobb County Parks & Recreation as the Gymnastic Coordinator. Hoylene had the honor of judging the gymnastic games in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and served as the Scorer in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She was a very loving, caring and independent person who enjoyed playing golf and watching her grandson play sports. Hoylene was a member of Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, an active participant of Stephen Ministries, served as past president of the LPGA Group of the Cartersville Country Club and president of The Region Eight USAG for years.

Survivors include her son, Scott and April Noble of Ringgold, Ga.; and a grandson, Gavin Scott Noble of Ringgold, Ga.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church with The Reverend Nena Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Nelson, Gavin Noble, Jim Noble, Tom Plummer, Joe Noble and Carey Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to The Region Eight USAG, Tim Rand Legends Fund (T.R.L.F.), 394 Stone Bridge Rd., Birmingham, Alabama 35210.
