Mr. Bobby B. Langford, age 64 of 5641 Alabama Highway, SW, Rome, GA passed away on February 18, 2006 at a local medical center.Mr. Langford was born in Floyd County on February 15, 1942. He had lived all of his life in Rome and Floyd County and was member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Langford worked in security for Floyd Medical Center for several years. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Womack Langford, to whom he was married to on February 14, 1964; three sons and daughters in-law, Ronnie (Topsey) and Robin Langford, Ricky Langford and Rodney (Bo) and Leigh Langford all of Rome; two grandchildren, Courtney and Ayden; brother in-law and sister in-law, Larry and Sandra Womack of Kennesaw. Nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services for Mr. Langford will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Oaknoll Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Byars and Dr. Phil Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight (Monday) from 6:00 until 9:00 pm. At other hours the family may be contacted at the residence at 5641 Alabama Highway, Rome. Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home Tuesday by 1:30 pm and include the following, Ben McCain, Buddy Kinard, Steve Byars, Calvin Neal, Mike Hooper and Gary Burkhalter.
