Mr. Christopher Lee Cox, 40, of Kingston, died on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born February 8, 1975 in Cartersville and was the son of Jimmy Cox and Nancy Fay Lee.

Mr. Cox attended New Covenant Baptist Church Rossville and loved to read his Bible. Christopher was a devoted family man with a great sense of humor who especially loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Cox of Kingston; mother, Nancy Fay Lee of Adairsville; father, Jimmy Cox (Linda) of Euharlee; daughter, Amy Blackmon of Rossville; sons, Christopher Blackmon and Shane Blackmon both of Cartersville, Eric Blackmon (Jessica) of White, Tyler Cox (Courtney) of Adairsville; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Christy Strickland and Jessie Cox both of Euharlee; brothers, James Cox and Kenneth Cox both of Adairsville.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Mike Gregg officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
