Obituary for Helen Bruce
Helen Sue Bruce, 68, of White, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, born August 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late J.D. Adcock and Beulah Mae Nicholson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Jack Bruce; her sister, Avenelle Adcock; and her brother, Billy Joe Adcock.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Brawner of Cartersville; several step-children; her sister, Margie Sue Franklin of Cartersville; her brother, James D. Adcock of Rydal; her grandchildren, Amber Michelle Roberson and husband, Shane Roberson of Cartersville, Tabitha LeeAnn Hendrix of Cartersville, Justin Daniel Long of Calhoun and Richard Terry Hendrix and wife, Amanda Roe Hendrix of Calhoun; her great-grandchildren, Jordan Grace, Jaiden Makenna, Ryder Kreed, Karson Wayne and Aiden Lynn, Brentlee Kaine, and Zadyn Laine.
Funeral services will be held a 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Hoyt Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Faith Tabernacle Holiness church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
